چکیده

Chronic wounds, such as leg ulcers associated with sickle cell disease, occur consequence of a prolonged inflammatory phase during the healing process. They are extremely hard to heal and persist significant health care problem due absence effective treatment uprising number patients. Indeed, there is critical need develop novel cell- tissue-based therapies treat these chronic wounds. Development in skin engineering leads small catalogue available substitute manufactured Good Manufacturing Practices compliant (GMPc) conditions. Those substitutes produced using primary cells that could limit their use restricted sourcing. Here, we propose GMPc protocols produce functional populations keratinocytes fibroblasts derived from pluripotent stem reconstruct dermo-epidermal plasma based fibrin matrix. In addition, this composite biologically active enhances vitro wounding keratinocytes. The proposed open new perspectives for replacement allogeneic substitute.

Functional Enterospheres Derived In Vitro from Human Pluripotent Stem Cells

Intestinal organoids derived from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) are valuable in vitro research models that enable simplified access to human gastrointestinal tissues. Here, we report the in vitro generation of enterospheres (hEnS) from hPSC-derived gastrointestinal epithelial precursors. hEnS are cystic spheroids with a simple uniform structure composed entirely of intestinal epithelium....

Skin wound healing following the spray of human abdominal adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells in diabetic male rat

Introduction: Diabetes is rising worldwide and impaired wound healing is one of its major complications. This study aimed to determine the effects of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on wound healing in diabetic rats. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, abdominal adipose tissue was obtained from 10 patients who underwent an abdominoplasty. MSCs were isolated from adi...

Comparative study of human-induced pluripotent stem cells derived from bone marrow cells, hair keratinocytes, and skin fibroblasts.

AIMS Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) provide a unique opportunity for the generation of patient-specific cells for use in disease modelling, drug screening, and regenerative medicine. The aim of this study was to compare human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) derived from different somatic cell sources regarding their generation efficiency and cardiac differentiation potential, an...

P-50: Elongating and Elongated Spermatids Manufactured In Vitro from Non-Human Primate Pluripotent Stem Cells

Background: We have recently shown that human embryonic (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) can differentiate into advanced spermatogenic cells including round spermatids by in vitro culture (Easley et al., Direct differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells into haploid spermatogenic cells. Cell Reports 2, 440-446 2012) and also, in collaboration, that rhesus spermatogonial ...
